Nothing
more tragic, the Andhra government would have expected. A person, A Chief
Minister, A visionary, who didn't even surpassed a 100 days in the office as
the Chief Minister, passed away off a chopper crash.
He was about to give a surprise visit to his own villagers, but his life itself
gave him the biggest surprise, the worst of all.
He was a people's man, as known, for his welfare policies.
YSR, steered his Congress party to two consecutive election wins, based his
policies on a formula of a welfare state that delivers on rural employment,
better irrigation, women-child upliftment and healthcare, such was his
charisma.
RIP, Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy (8 July 1949 – 2 September 2009)
